What Size Shopping Bag Should a Swimwear Store Use?
A folded swimsuit is compact, but the completed checkout purchase may not be. Tissue, an inner sleeve, a second set, a dry cover-up, or a compatible accessory can change the package from flat to bulky. Choosing an outer carrier from the garment alone can leave a small sale floating in too much space or force a mixed purchase against the opening and center snap.
The practical buying question is therefore not “What bag fits a bikini?” It is “Which bag fits the dry, protected purchase my staff actually hands over?” Build that purchase first, then choose the smallest row that passes a counter test.
Use the three sizes as test roles
Start with Mini for one compact, dry, already protected swimwear purchase or small compatible add-ons; test Medium for a typical mixed purchase or several folded pieces; and reserve Large for wider multi-item purchases or compatible dry cover-ups. These are testing roles, not capacity guarantees.
The product lists Mini at 23 × 25 × 10 cm, Medium at 34 × 33 × 10 cm, and Large at 44 × 42 × 12 cm. Treat those listed dimensions as rejection screens. They do not prove usable internal space, carrying strength, or fit for every purchase. Mini and Medium share a listed 10 cm depth; Large adds both face area and a listed 12 cm depth.
Define an everyday purchase and an exception purchase
Do not begin with every item the store might sell. Build two purchase profiles. The everyday profile should reflect a common dry checkout: for example, one protected swimsuit, the normal tissue or sleeve, and any routine receipt or care insert. The exception profile might add a second folded piece, a compatible dry cover-up, or a boxed accessory that the store routinely combines with swimwear.
Keep primary product protection separate from the outer carrier. If a garment needs a sleeve, tissue arrangement, box, or another direct-contact pack, include it before measuring. Measure the completed checkout pack

Then compare the pack against all three rows. A wider and taller face does not automatically solve a depth problem. Conversely, selecting Large only because it is the biggest option can make a single compact purchase feel poorly proportioned. The useful answer is the smallest tested row that accepts the complete pack and still presents it as intended.
Test the opening, snap, and handoff together
The gallery shows flat handles, gusseted sides, and a visible center snap. The snap may help draw the top edges together, but it is not a full seal. During the counter test, check whether the protected merchandise sits below the snap path, whether the gusset opens without distorting the package, and whether the handles remain easy to lift after the purchase is placed inside.
Ask a staff member to pack the same profile several times. Observe whether tissue catches at the opening, the snap is skipped because the bag is too full, or the completed carrier leans and loses its intended presentation. Carry it through the normal handoff distance and set it down once. Dimensions alone cannot answer those workflow questions.

If the everyday profile passes consistently but the exception profile does not, a two-row size ladder may be more useful than forcing all purchases into one carrier. If one row serves both without awkward excess or pressure, a single-row system may simplify counter storage.
Factory control note: release the dry checkout pack
A useful sourcing brief describes the completed purchase, not just “small,” “medium,” or “large.” Record the protected product mix; packed width × height × depth; relevant packed-weight requirement; inner protection; exact finished bag dimensions; gusset, opening, handle, and snap acceptance; artwork zone; quantity; packing; destination; schedule; proof or physical sample route; and approval owner.
Ask the supplier to confirm material, construction, finished dimensions, handles, fastener, relevant performance requirement, artwork process, custom quantity, packing, sample or proof route, and timing. Do not infer those custom terms from the ready-made 10-piece or 50-piece selectors.
Scale only after the counter evidence is clear
